Hi, I'm Megha. Handkala means art made by hand, and that's the whole idea. I'm an independent artisan, and I shape every clay line, set every mirror and finish every frame myself.
What started as a love for Lippan, the mud-and-mirror craft of Kutch, grew into a small studio in Sector 67, Gurugram, making décor for homes, gifts and custom pieces. No two pieces come out quite the same, and that's the charm.

What is Lippan art?
Lippan (also called mud-and-mirror work) is a traditional relief craft from Kutch, Gujarat. Raised clay patterns are set with small mirrors that catch the light. Today it's made on boards as wall décor.
Can I get a custom design, size or colour?
Yes. Most pieces are made to order. Share your idea, your wall size and your colour palette in a DM, and I'll design around them.
How long does an order take?
Handmade work needs drying and finishing time. The timeline depends on size and detail, and I'll confirm it with your quote before we start.
Do you ship?
Yes. Pieces are packed securely and shipped across India. Around Gurugram and Delhi NCR, local delivery or studio pickup is usually easiest. Send me your pincode on WhatsApp and I'll confirm the options and charges.
How do I care for a Lippan piece?
Keep it indoors and away from moisture. Dust it gently with a dry, soft brush or cloth. Don't use water or cleaning sprays.
Can I visit the studio in Gurugram?
Yes, visits are by appointment. The studio is at Pyramid Urban 67 A, 103, Badshahpur Sohna Road, Sector 67, Sohna, Gurugram, Haryana 122101. Call or WhatsApp +91 82876 26712 between 9am and 7pm IST first, so I can keep time aside for you.
Do you take bulk or gifting orders?
