One person, one pair of hands
Handkala Creatives is not a shop or a workshop with staff. It is one person — Megha — working from a studio in Sector 67, Gurugram, making every piece by hand to order. This page explains how that actually works, so you know what you are getting into before you message.

What I make
Lippan art, the mud-and-mirror relief craft of Kutch. Pichwai panels in the Nathdwara tradition. Madhubani work from Mithila. Hand-painted Jharokha window frames. Custom name plates for doors. Tea light holders and candle sets.
Four of those are distinct regional traditions with their own rules, and I work in all four. The crafts share a logic — raised relief, mirror work, patience, and no shortcuts that would show later.
How an order actually works
You send a photo of the wall, the measurements and the colours in the room. I come back with a design direction and a price. Nothing is made until you have approved both.
Once we agree, the piece is drawn, raised line by line, mirrored, painted and finished by hand. Each layer dries before the next goes on, which is the part that sets the timeline. I send progress photos as it goes.
Pieces start at ₹700. What you pay above that depends on size, how much mirror and clay detailing the design needs, and whether it is framed.
What I will not do
I do not keep stock. Every piece is made for the person who asked for it, which is why there is no catalogue to buy from.
I will not take an order I cannot finish properly in the time you need. If you tell me a date and it is not realistic, I will say so rather than rush the drying and send you something that cracks.
If a piece is going somewhere it should not — an open gate in full sun, a bathroom wall — I will tell you before you order rather than after.
Where the studio is

It is a working studio rather than a showroom, so visits are by appointment. Call or message first and I will keep time aside. Orders and questions are handled over WhatsApp between 9am and 7pm, seven days a week.
